Do chams taste change with age?

After having to sell my last cross from kammerflage five years ago because life got in the way I am finally In a position to have a collection again. I know it's a silly question but do chams taste change with time and age? I could never get my old guy to take anything but crickets. I tried dubias and hornworms with no luck. Is it better to start them off on a variety at a young age and if they refuse should I try them again when they are older?

As Andee said variety is good for them. They can get bored and picky.
Different insects are the key to a healthy diet.

I bought my 1 yr old panther from an owner so he already had established a narrow band of insects he was prepared to eat, having only been offered crix, locusts or mealworms, he's still picky but will go in phases where he's willing to eat silkworms, calci worms, pachnoda, stick insects , moths, etc, when I first had him he wouldn't try anything new, I'd try and he'd refuse then try again in a month and it must of worked trying again and again as he now eats everything except dubia- I'm working on that though.

I also have A2 year old panther chameleon. Who goes through phases when he won't eat roaches.
