Do Chams Yawn?

I was looking at my cham as he slept and all of a sudden he opened his mouth as if he was yawning, he didn't wake up, he stayed asleep. This got me wondering, has anyone experienced this, is it something I should be worried about?

My veiled cham does it ever morning. I should try to catch it on video

I have only seen my veiled chams yawn.

Certainly chameleons yawn but usually not when they are asleep. This could be a sign he has the start of an Upper Respiratory Infection or some other related problem. Watch for gaping, difficulty breathing, mucous in the mouth and popping/wheezing sounds.
