Hi, My chameleon, Is a 4 month old Female Veiled... I went to check up on her.. and i seen that she had Pooped... I checked her, and she was sorta.. "Sitting" Her front legs were straight (Like they would be if she was standing) and her back legs werent.. i though maybe something happeed to her legs.. and i got a kingwork, she came and gotit, and sat again.. it looks like theres a 'Flap' Sorta thing... on her Butt, Underneather her tail.. and its sorta like a bump..? Dont get me wrong.. it could be normal, and it could be just her butt.. but it looks like something mighyt have happened..? i will post pictures soon..

While taking pictures she wasnt sitting the same, but she was standing with her hind legs, far apart.. :l Im nervous..

In a female it would be a colon prolapse-it would look like a pink part hanging out of her vent.

I do not know if these pics worked.. but if they did theres her laying down, then i got a worm and sh got up (You can kinda see her spreading her legs) And some other ones.. Sorry there not the best pics (Crappy Camera)

Ok.. uhm gah sytupid cam.. uhmm its just her 'Vent' Looks bigger.. and she walks with her legs apart.. and it looks 'Open' Probably a bad discription i dunno how to describe it..

If u have never taken it to a vet it would be a good idea to take it anyways just to get a check up, checked for parasites, and have a vet established in case u do have an emergency in the future!! Make sure it a vet that specializes in herps though. There is a link on here somewhere to search ur area for one, maybe somebody will post it for u, or maybe somebody did already??:eek:Sorry, I would but I don't know how:eek:

After my chams poop their vent is open wider for a little while. They walk kind of funny and wipe the vent on a branch like if they wanted to be clean. Maybe they do. Could it be that kind of thing? Is it still like that now?

Chams just stand, walk, and do weird things. There is probably nothing wrong with her... you have not had her that long to be able to "Know when something is worng". Just give it a while, if she actualy does seem to be walking funny... clumbsy, she might be gravid? or about to lay.... I don't know much about Vields.

She looks pretty healthy to me though...

I dont see anything out of the ordinary in the pictures but then again they are pretty blurry.

It took me a while to get used to the weird movements and quirks that chams have. I still sometimes look at my Brody and ask what the heck she is doing. :)
