Do i Worry?

My panther Firestar, which is about 1 year old was climbing around his cage the other day and fell really hard, about 2 feet or so on his side, i watched him for quite a while to see if he would get up and he eventually did stand up but stayed on the bottom of his cage for almost 4 hours, which is very unusual for him. I checked his legs and nothing seems to be broken and hubby agrees. But i am afraid he might have a fracture or something because he still isn't acting right. He is hanging around on the bottom of his cage for a large portion of the day, something he never did before. He has climbed around and doesn't seem to have a problem with it and when i touch his legs he doesn't seem to mind, well anymore than usual. lol. Not sure if he is just bruised or what. I am worried because like i said this is unusual for him. He usually does go on the bottom because in the morning he found out the sun shines in from the front window, so i don't know if he is just waiting for the sun to come back or if there is a problem. Any suggestions?

he was prolly just startled feet is not a lot when you consider how high trees are and how compact forest floor is with roots around tree bases

they things are made to fall , look at the picture of the way the ribcage is, it can flatten out in a split second and then they raise arms to take most of the impact off limbs

watch him and take him to a vet if you really feel the need, he is a goregous cham

It sounds like he was startled and "has learned a lesson". I would worry more if his limbs weren't moving or have turned black like I have personally seen before....thats when a vet needs to be visited and other measures taken. If his colors look ok and he is eating I wouldn't worry personally.
