Do the mushrooms ever stop!

i posted about this awhile back, a few mushrooms coming up in my soil. Read that they aren't much to wory about other than if my cham would eat them. Thing is, they are coming up more and more, do they ever finish feeding on whatever it is in the soil and stop? I guess mushrooms are better than mold, but was just wondering how long they stay around for

They do go away eventually. But sometimes they can really run rampant for a while. They will run their course, but a nice humid chameleon cage is a great environment for them.

Funny note, where I live, we have the really large cockroaches that most refer to as "water bugs". I have got mushrooms many times. The last time they were really noticeable in my greenhouse, I realized they would come up and be gone very fast. I was thrilled of course but confused. I went around with a flashlight at night and couldn't believe how many things were eating them up. These cockroaches would eat an entire mushroom in minutes. Snails, slugs, etc. would be eating them. That was one of my biggest pushes to make all my enclosures bioactive.

Hah yeah i think i have fungus gnats eating mine -.- but i'm in the process of doing bioactive for my enclosures. Starting with some springtails, wonder if they'd munch on the shrooms?
