Do they all all??

Both chameleons in my house (my sons and mine) go to sleep as soon as the lights go out. Like in a minute or two after the lights are off they are knocked out. They don't move for the rest of the night. They are in separate rooms and though purchased from the same place they are not from the same clutch, his is about 6 weeks older than mine.
So my question is, is this pretty normal behavior or do they need their times adjusted. For Yoda I turn on both lights at 9 am at 8:30 - 9 pm I turn the heat off to cool things down and let him get ready for bed and lights out 30 minutes after I turn off the heat. So he's getting 12 hours on 12 hours off. So more sleep, or this is normal?

Yes this is normal, my jacksons actually will go to his sleep spot about a half hour before lights out to check everything out before aleeping.

I was just checking that it wasn't because I was leaving the lights on to long. I was leaning on the side of normal since they both do it but wanted to double check. It's kinda cute in a way but it doesn't hurt to be sure. Side note I have a great Dane that as soon as you put a blanket over her face she will lay day and go to sleep. I have odd ball animals lol

Yep, totally normal! My cham gets ready for bed and actually was able to convey to me that I was turning her lights off too late. I bumped the times by an hour and now she's perfectly in sync with the lights on/lights off schedule. It's pretty amazing how they do that.

It's totally normal behavior. I'd also add that I generally go with a 12 hour cycle, however my chams are in a room with a window that has a shade that I keep open for them to look out. So, I time their lights with the sunlight schedule so that it's not dark outside and their lights are still on, etc.

I also match the sun as the year goes, they all have separate bedtimes but usually in the same order lol one has to patrol the enclosure at least once before settling down.
