Do you need to clip/trim a veiled chameleon's nails

My Veiled baby is getting a little bit older (he is about 9months old), and his nails are VERY SHARP I know this because he loves to crawl on my arm. Overall, they are in good condition, so I am not worried about that. I would like to attach a pic, but he is sleeping now.

@LizardLurkin is correct, do not trim them. They need to be sharp so they can climb and hang on those branches 😊 I was unaware they didn’t regrow, so that’s good to know!
I double checked and it's apparently when their nails are ripped out of the nail bed that they won't grow back. But, not to derail, yes they definitely need their claws. @VeiledMoodRing enjoy your lil veiled toe imprints haha

Depending on grip strength and how tender your skin is, you might want to wear an oven mitt or glove of some sort. My male veiled has such an incredibly strong grip that he causes a lot of pain and has punctured my skin before.
