Name your Chameleons??

I have never named my reptiles(they don't come when you call them).

But from a couple of weeks browsing here, it seems the majority do name their Chams!

True??

If I go with the flow, I'm considering Marty Feldman......

Most definetly! I name em all!! Pollie, Hunter and Oliver all Veileds.

I name everything..and If I dont, My kids will! My husband wont name something unless he knows its gonna be around for awhile. You name it, you get attached.
Great Danes: Twiggy and Toki. Rabbits: Sam, Millie, Kujo. Chams:Ben(ita), Leo. Red Eye Tree frog: Burp (did have Belch but he passed on). Cricket Frogs: Fred and Ned, or maybe its Fred and Ed..(I dont know. Kids named these). I have not named the salamander, as I didnt invite him to live with us. he chose us. and we have 2 clown fish that My kids call NEMO 1 and 2 which my husband HATES...I call them big guy and little guy aka new guy..who might end up being a girl..I think he is losing the dominance battle.
and for some reason, I call everything HE until its proven otherwise...


and Marty is a good name.

It will die at some point so how do you know if it's from naming it or not?
I name all my animals, its easier to remember them that way.

Pets have to be named! They are part of the family - you name your kids, so why not pets?! I have a beautiful female veiled called Lily!

my dogs are named fizzy bubblegh (from the zohan movie), sasha, Guus, Lucille, and our worst dog - Herbie.
my bearded dragon- pinto
my leopard gecko- jack
those are the names.

Mine are named also. My DH does the naming. When we talk about the chams it is easier to specify if they are named.

I'd forgotten about Dangermouse! I used to watch that too! I was more of a 'Penfold' fan though! Baron Greenback is a cool name!

I name them yes. Some silly names... usually the ones that have shorter life expectancy, and some I put weeks of thought into looking up baby/pet name sites online all day.
