A common "Did you know" fact on home page of this forum is:

"The chameleons tongue accelerates towards its target at over 1642m per second. Chameleons rarely miss their intended food item."

The rarely miss part I accept, but since I have never heard a sonic boom when my chams tongue-slap a bug, I doubt that their tongue is moving at 3673 mph.
