I'm interested to see what some more senior members say about this. I've seen a few videos of chameleons chomping on plants, and maybe like one of a jackson eating some kale...but otherwise I didn't think they ate much out of a bowl, especially.

Best thing to do is to make sure you feed those good veggies to your feeders so they make their way to your cham's stomach when he eats them. Just my two cents, anyways.

Do owners usually not feed their chameleon lettuce I just figure every now and the toss lettuce just cause I've heard ppl doing so and this is my first one so......

And my crickets and meal worms eat the veggies like carrots lettuce and my mom says chopped up potato

Veils are omnivores and will readily eat pothos leaves and hibiscus flowers. Some people feed them various greens, romaine lettuce and fruits. Some need to be avoided though as they are high in phosphates and other unwanted stuff. This sites caresheets and some recent threads went into this subject with great detail.

My male veiled just recently discovered mustard greens and collard greens. He really enjoys both and will practically run to eat them from a bowl. He gets one or the other once a week as a treat. They are both pretty high in calcium. I've heard lettuce isn't the best choice. Mine won't eat fruit either.

Well look like we are trying both lol just wanna get the variety going then to switch up crickets and meal worms I wanna completely stop using meal worms cause everyone says not to so.....
