Unfortunately most petsmarts give rubbish information. They only see $ signs. There have been many posts on here about petsmart. 10% linear uv tube is recomended. Just because in item has a picture of a chameleon on it doesn't mean that it is suitable. There are many different species of chameleon and they all have different requirements.

Ummm it's just like a little swirly one I got at petsmart. I'm pretty sure it had a chameleon on the box.

Put that bulb back into the box and return it for your money back. You need a linear tube UVB bulb to emit the uv rays.
The swirly bulb is called a cfl bulb, which can blind your chameleon.
Also, you want to keep this on, as well as heat for at least 10 hours a day and no more than 12 hours a day.
No lights on at night, colored lights are not invisible to them, if you can see it, the chameleon can see it and they need it to be dark to sleep

I think you really need a thermometer. It may feel ok, but may not be hot enough, or too hot.
You could improve your gut load too. Sandra's blog has loads of info aswell as care sheets on the forum.
He may even eat more than you're giving him, again, look at care sheets.
It was also tell you a good dusting schedule, with calcium only, calcium with d3 and multivits. Again,on the care sheets.
He may still be settling in too.kath.
