Just got her on 6/3/17 when I weighed her on the 9th she was 54g she's about five almost six months old. Got her from an expo from an amazing breeder that gave me all her family tree up to like the great grandparents, so obviously it's not a breeder thing. I just get paranoid when I come on here hehe. She is a very active eater eating crickets, superworms and hornworms. About 10 crickets a day rotating with calcium without d3 getting a multivitamin in any day now and she has a repti uvb 5 bulb. Her name is Lolita btw :)) never see her drink as expected but I run the dripper like three times a week and most her about three times a day unless it's hotter in my room.

calcium without D3 should be almost every feeding, calcium with D3 should be about 2 times a month and multivitamin should also be 2 times a month

If she is 54 grams at 6 months old, that is very good. She is going to be a big girl. Very good liking female. Congrats and good luck.

She is gorgeous! Looks very healthy. Also, if you aren't already, make sure you're misting 3+ times a day to keep the humidity up, as well as giving her more chances to drink.

Something looks wrong with her mouth, is it always flared out like that?
Sorry for the late reply, but yes since I got her she's always had that little wonky looking bit on the side of the mouth. It doesn't effect her it seems, she has a huge appetite and no problem hunting hehe.

That's not good, that can be a sign of mouth rot/infection. If it goes untreated long enough it can be a death sentence. Chams will hide problems and act like everything is normal until it is too late many times. That said I'm not a vet, it may be a scar from something(I'm not an expert on this), but it's definitely not normal. I would see what one of our experts here think about it @kinyonga comes to mind. I'd also fill out the help form just to be on the safe side to make sure everything's right(it's good practice for everyone imo). Good luck though, not trying to scare you at all.

Have you looked inside the mouth along the area that is flared out? It could be the beginning of mouth rot and would be better to be treated sooner than later if it is.

I took her to the vet the other day and she said it was a very mild case of mouth rot. When I told her all my temps and stuff she said it had to of came from the breeder than. Cleaned her mouth with iodine and for ten days she has antibiotics that taste like banana bread lol. Not a huge issue since it was so early on, thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Good thing you went, can become bad over time! Glad she's okay!!
Yeah just sucks she started her first shed with me while I had to give her medication, so she's been a bit stressed. Though medicine will stop on Tuesday and she's eating more than what she was when we first started.

She should be fine! The important thing with stress isn't to eliminate it entirely, but to allow an escape from it. Stress is only really dangerous when its so excessive the chameleon shuts down or if it's a constant long drawn out thing that they can't escape from. Bill strand made a good analogy on the podcast, it's like if you have a constant cold draft blowing on you, the stress your body is in without an escape can cause illness. On the other hand if you run outside for a minute and it's really cold, but are able to come back into the warm, you're not likely to get sick.

So just some reassurance!
