Sorry for the late reply, but yes since I got her she's always had that little wonky looking bit on the side of the mouth. It doesn't effect her it seems, she has a huge appetite and no problem hunting hehe.Something looks wrong with her mouth, is it always flared out like that?
I took her to the vet the other day and she said it was a very mild case of mouth rot. When I told her all my temps and stuff she said it had to of came from the breeder than. Cleaned her mouth with iodine and for ten days she has antibiotics that taste like banana bread lol. Not a huge issue since it was so early on, thanks for bringing this to my attention. That's not good, that can be a sign of mouth rot/infection. If it goes untreated long enough it can be a death sentence. Chams will hide problems and act like everything is normal until it is too late many times. That said I'm not a vet, it may be a scar from something(I'm not an expert on this), but it's definitely not normal. I would see what one of our experts here think about it @kinyonga comes to mind. I'd also fill out the help form just to be on the safe side to make sure everything's right(it's good practice for everyone imo). Good luck though, not trying to scare you at all.
Yeah just sucks she started her first shed with me while I had to give her medication, so she's been a bit stressed. Though medicine will stop on Tuesday and she's eating more than what she was when we first started.Good thing you went, can become bad over time! Glad she's okay!!
