Your Chameleon - The species, sex, and age of your chameleon. How long has it been in your care? I have a male Ambilobe that is about 7 months old.
Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon? Not often, he doesn't love being handled so maybe once every two weeks.
Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders? He eats crickets, super worms, and isn't interested in mealworms. I have a combo pack coming of dubias, hornworms and silkworms to cycle in. If just crickets 10-15, but depends what I'm giving him that day. I gut load with Repashy Superload and a variety of veggies and greens, whatever is in my Uromastyx cycle.
Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule? I use rep-cal every other day and Repashy HyD once biweekly and Repashy Superveggie once biweekly
Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking? We mist 3-4 times daily and drip for 30mins twice daily. He also gets moved outside on nice days where the dripper is on the whole time he is out and he's misted.
Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites?
Seems normal, small white urates followed by a well formed poop. He goes regularly!
History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you. I've had him since April and he seems to be doing very well.

Cage Info:
Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions? Zoomed Reptibreeze 16x16x20, I'll be moving him up to the larger size here soon.
Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule? Zilla Heat and UV basking fixture with I believe a 25watt white mini halogen and a Zoomed Reptisun 5.0 He's on a 12 hour cycle.
Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps? His basking spot is at 85 and the floor is 75 with areas between the two throughout the setup. I use a handheld infrared temp gauge.
Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity? Between the 40's and 50's unlisted and high 60's after mistings. I use a hygrometer but also live in a high humidity state.
Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind? I'm using 2 pathos and 2 ficus
Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor? He's in the living room on a table so the top of the cage is at about my head height.
Location - Where are you geographically located? Maryland

Current Problem - The current problem you are concerned about.
I don't know if there is a problem. He was hunting and I think his vent area looks a bit strange.

I think he looks spectacular. Stop looking too closely at poops and butts and enjoy that guy. Husbandry looks good but I'll let a senior member chime in.

Lol that cracked me up! Seeing all the crazy stuff on these forums and not having kept Chameleons since at least a decade ago, I figured better safe than sorry! Thanks for replying Joe!

Beautiful!

He looks great! Sometimes my male veiled will... relax?.. his vent while he is basking... so that could be what you see. haha.

Hope that helps!
Sarah
