Dogs that make strange noises

Does anyone else have one? I adopted this adorable older gal a while ago and she makes the strangest noises! She moans, groans, and grunts allll the time. I call them her cuddle noises because she makes them the most often when she cuddles with people. It's almost like she's talking to you to tell you if your hugging or petting her the right way! She literally sounds exasperated and annoyed when you try to move her and she doesn't want to be moved. I've never heard a dog make so many noises.

Haha aww, reminds me of a friend's older border terrier. She's completely rotund, and all she wants is to get petted. So she grunts and snorts when she's on your lap, to remind you to keep petting her.

My new puppy is very vocal as well, and has the heart of a brat. When I put him to sleep in his crate he will turn every few minutes to get comfortable and every time grunt with displeasure. One night he got lucky and I let him sleep on the bed and he was doing the same thing! I told him that he was going to be quite unhappy if he found even my bed uncomfortable, there is no memory foam mattress with Egyptian cotton sheets waiting for him anytime soon!

She definitely does the toss and turn grunt! Your puppy sounds adorable.

I wish I had known this dog when she was younger.

My Miniature Dachshund Jazz makes noise all the time.

Maybe its a smaller dog thing?

She's a chubby mini dachshund corgi mix.

Yes I have a grunter too. One of my ShihTzu boys grunts when he wants something... he also will make little noises when being moved while he is sleeping so we will carry him to bed and cuddle him more.

I'll have to get a video of it. If you hug her she will moan for almost 20 seconds straight!

That is too funny, my brothers german shorthaired point are the same way! They always always always have to be touching some one, leaning and sitting on you. Moaning and groaning the whole time if I dont pet them whenever i visit.

My Mini Schnauzer makes grunting noises. He will also ROOOOOO at you if he is upset, or if you are about to leave the house without him

I'll try to record him tomorrow. If my fiance, and I start wrestling around, he will do it also. Sometimes if I just shadow box by myself, or act like I'm going to throw a kick he will do it.
