Don't know what went wrong

I just want to thank everyone for all the help and information on the site. I learned a lot. My baby Ree died last night. No Idea what happened to her. She only had parasites should of been a easy fix. It seems she got worse with the meds. Is that normal? It really hit me hard. Just wanted to say bye for now. Not sure I will get another chameleon or not. I don't want to kill another beautiful creature.

When they sick,the immune system are very weak,that doesnt mix well with the strong medication...,
Time will heal your broken heart.... you will be a better owner of your next HERCULES cham....yup...yup

I'm very sorry to hear she passed away. Those flagellated protozoa can be nasty parasites, difficult to get rid of, and the medicines can be hard on the body, too. Unfortunately, chams are very good at hiding illness until it is serious.

Try not to blame yourself too much... As Lathis said, chams are great at putting on a poker face when it comes to being sick. Take your time and heal, and if you feel you're ready again, I'm sure the whole community here will be behind you .

Get dress hurry...and go to a emergency vet place....prepare for the worst....that poor cham....i will be praying for her,since she already die last night and you say again she still moving...that meant she was never dead.....yup...yup

I thought she died? Please take her a vet and have her euthanized now.

Yeah She was dead and for a while. My mind must of been playing tricks. I feel so foolish. Thanks again for the help and kind words.
