double elbows

hey everyone,
I have a 2 month old veiled chameleon. She eats and drinks well, has no sunken eyes and does not sleep during the day.

Her arms look like they have double elbows. It looks like she has an upper arm, a middle arm, and a lower arm.

I did a bit of research on the net and a page turned up saying this is a bad sign.

What causes it?, how do I fix it?
There are absolutely no vets in my area that are capable of treating her, so any solution will have to happen here at home.

Thx for the advice :)

Sounds like a MBD if elbows are twisted...

Do you have a UVB lamp? Linear or compact one?

It could be possible that she was born deformed...

I bought a brand new fluro UVB lamp when I bought her, and it runs about 16 hours a day.

I can't be certain? But I don't think she was born this way, it seems to have developed over the last few weeks. What's mbd?

MBD stands for Metabolic bone disease and it sounds like your chameleon might have it. Please post some pictures. Jann
