Dowel rods

I got some dowel rods today for my chams cage and was wondering if I had to bake those like you would sticks or of they are ok to go in his cage? Thank you for the help.

No. Be aware that just about all dowels are made from softwoods like pine. Eventually they will absorb water and get grimy, so plan on scrubbing them periodically.

Will do, I clean his cage every week so I'll give them a good scrub everytime.
