Dragon Strand Large Clear Side Enclosure

Thanks for the information! Custom builds seem like the best way to go to really set these guys up for show and functionality. Love Dragon Strand!

I noticed that you have a humidifier setup next to the enclosure. What is your ambient humidity level inbetween mistings?

Awesome enclosure... Great job! (y)

I wish the larger sized Atrium enclosure had been available when I purchased my Dragon Strand... I definitely would've opted for it over the older medium sized Atrium enclosure I ended up with. Most frustrating part is I only missed the large by ~2 weeks.

The humidifier is only used at night in the winter when the humidity drops to 40-50%. It is difficult to keep the humidity level up during the winter here in New England.

I thought you had the medium one yea. That sucks you only missed the release of it by 2 weeks. The Large Artrium is deff a lot more spacey and more ideal for an adult chameleon; do you plan on upgrading to the larger one? On the bright side, if ya did, you could always keep the smaller one for another reptile, or keep it as a cage for another chameleon one day - because smaller chameleons require smaller cages, and you upgrade the cage as they get bigger. You could keep a smaller chameleon in the smaller Artrium, and move it to your big one when it grows bigger!

I wish like crazy that I had the room for the large Artrium because that is the one I would buy. But currently living in an apartment, I have no room for a cage that size, as my space is a bit limited and I don't want to overcrowd everything. I also don't have a stand that would accommodate a cage as big as the Large Artrium - those are super nice and super big! I love how it has all the great similar vertical dimensions of a 24 x 24 x 48 but it also has the added length horizontally which is super great.

Maybe one day in a couple years when I buy a house, I will get one of those Large Atrium enclosures for my chameleon and I will just use my other cages for some of the other arboreal reptiles I plan on getting, such as a Mossy-Tailed Gecko or a Leaf-Tailed Gecko. I also want a Devil's Flower Mantis as well because I've always thought they were really neat, and those could roam around my old cages nicely. I could deff put em to use for something. Maybe use one for a hornworm breeding cage or something..... (y)
