dragonflies

Dragon flies bite, so they should probably be watched carefully. AS far as toxic or no i have no idea
 
Then I'm going to say no to the dragonflies...not worth the risk...I'll just let them go. (I guess I should have asked before I spent two hours running around like an escapee from the asylum trying to catch the damn things.):eek:

I wouldn't use dragonflies. Some insects with irridescent scales or eyes (like horseflies) can apparently be toxic or at least nasty tasting.


You aren't an official cham keeper until you've been spotted chasing down field plankton:D
 
Thanks for the reply-is there a site(with the insect pictures) that says what is ok and what isn't?

Yeah, I thought the neighbor was gonna call the people in the white coats and the BIG butterfly net. I still don't think I'll risk the wild-caught creatures though.
