Drainage

So I got a washer drip pan that I planned to use for drainage but I can't seem to get it to cooperate with me and actually drain. I elevated one side about 15 degrees so water would flow to words the drain but with the tubing that came with it the water has to build up over an inch to go down the drain or it all sits in the middle. I have the tray sitting on a table with the drain over the edge to go into a five gallon bucket. Any easy ideas to fix this?

Thanks for he reply. Unfortunately I already drilled the hole twords the side and it' set on a table. I might be able to incorporate something like this on the side tho

Cut a hole in your table and place the drain pan on top. Drill a series of holes in the center of the pan using a 1/2 inch drill bit. Cover the series of holes with screen and secure screen with silicone. Silicone a funnel to the bottom of the drain pan under the series of holes.

Drain pans are cheap, maybe you could buy another?

Was thinking of something similar to that but am trying to avoid cutting into the table because this is only a temporary set up until we move to a bigger cage that will be on a setup we are building. We will be using the same drain pan for e bigger cage tho

I am thinking I will need another one at this point because the side hole is not working at all
