We have a medium sized waterfall for our veiled chameleon Karma, but she deliberatly craps in it where ever its put in her enclosure. she seems fine and healthy but i want to make sure shes getting enough. Right now I spray her leaves probly more than i should and have a few hermitcrab drinking sponges hung around the top of the cage. but i wonder if shes getting enough water? or if theres another way she could get it easier? the sponges only stay wet for an hour or so.... plz help.

Many people will tell you the waterfall is bad. It is breeding ground for bacteria and they most of the time wont use them. The sponges wont do anything except it might barely raise humidity and collect bacteria. You need to get a dripper from the pet store or make your own. You will want a collection container for the excess water so it doesnt make your cage a mess.

Waterfalls and sponges are (in my opinion) a terrible way to offer water to a chameleon.
misting and a dripper are the way I provide clean water all the time.
They LOVE to poop in water and you will never keep that waterfall clean enough to avoid danger of a bacterial infection.
Sponges are even worse for harboring dangerous microorganisms.
