dripper valve

is their a good dripper valve out there or do they all suck? i got a cheap plastic one and im getting tired of it, it will be dripping perfect, then it runs out of water, i add water then it doesnt drip anymore, just constant adjustments. do all ur dripper valves do this? do the aqaurium valves that people use when building ur own dripper do this? are they better at all? thanks

Any Home Depot or Lowes will have a nice pick of "real" valves that you can tune to exactly how you want them.

My dripper valve does the same thing but I have noticed that if you shut the valve before you refill it and then open once filled, it'll drip again. This is what I do with mine, try it out and see if it works with yours.

I havent had this problem, and I buy the cheapest ones I can find.
Maybe its the placement of the dripper? Or do you perhaps have hard water deposits building up?
