Dripping

I just set up a real inexpensive drip system and have it measured out to where I know how much water to use for certain time limits but I'm unsure as to when to use it in the day, how long to set it for, and how often to do it a day? Anybody want to aid me in my cunundrum

I just made a drip system by gettin a little plastic container and pokin a hole in it with a needle. I put maybe (just a guess) a cup or maybe less of water in it and it goes for a couple hours. It depends on how often you mist too. Other members will probly chime in and give more detailed in. Goodluck :D

I just fill my dripper up and when it runs out I fill it back up! My cham pretty much has acess to water all day unless he is free ranging on my patio. I have a cookie sheet that fits in the bottom I use for drainage. When it fills up I empty it! No rocket science here!! I am very basic!!

:)my dripper runs for the whole day,and is still dripping when the lights go out(after 12 hrs) i have a good drainage system that allows this but i would recomend having the dripper drip all day.i have a misting monsoon as well and it runs 12 hrs too..i also hand spray their enclosures 3-5 times daily..:)

Thanks guys... I had just noticed that lately the because he is still young and defecating every day I can tell days that he hasn't been getting as much hydration... I had started misting about 5 times a day and that was working well and I don't want it to sound like he's dehydrated lol it was just slightly slightly yellow so I figured I would start a drip and he seems to be liking it so far... Thanks for ya'lls help!
