Should be fine just make sure your chameleon doesnt chew on it to much

I had bamboo in but it was too slippery for my cham to walk on properly and he fell off so he was just dangling by nothing but his tail, it was pretty funny. I wrapped it in string and vines so now he perches on it no trouble.

I use bamboo cuttings as highways in some of my enclosures

Yea I use it too to add thinner pathways in my cages.
