Dubia Summer Time

Does anyone else have a huge boost of Dubia/Roach babies during spring/summer time? My Dubia are producing babies like crazy and my GBRs are growing from nymphs to adults very quickly as well. It's wonderful ^^ Even my isopods are doing well. Oh by the way, whoever had Giant Canyon Isopods I suggest putting a small heat pad on them. I put mine on the side so they aren't directly on it, but there is still heat radiating from it. I have a rather large bin I have them in with about 4 inches of eco earth and a lot moss a lot of oak leaves mixed in and some wood and stones. But with the medium sized heat pad (which only covers 1/3 of the bin) they seem to be bursting with babies and are very active. I only got mine about a month or so ago and already there are lots of pregnant females and newborns running around. I also have them on a thermostat that is connected to my GBR enclosure, so they only ever reach 82 degrees F at most.

I use cork bark. They have about 5 inches of eco earth mixed with moss and oak leaves and then they have cork bark and a single piece of cholla branch.

Will the dubia's breed in a garage that is hot and humid, or does it have to be a constant temp? The temp drops at night but during the day gets hot in there. I live in Northern Illinois. Just curious.

I believe Dubias Grow and Breed a lot faster when it is hot humid and dark so a Hot humid Summer/Spring would boost a colony immensely

Dubia's breed in my garage, but I have a heat pad on them constantly, I just keep it on a thermostat so they don't go above 88 degrees. Just make sure not to run the car inside the garage when there is no way for fumes to escape. It can kill them.
