are either of these a good source of food for a veiled to go along with the crickets and worms. i have a bunch of local breeders of dubias and lobsters.
You got it. The dubia is one of the most prolific roaches in the pet industry.are dubia a form of cockroach? I've never heard of them before.
Hey guys,
I just started my lobster roach colony, I've had it for about 2 weeks now. I have them in a 20 gallon aquarium. Just wondering is it normal that some are dying and eating each other? It's not that many, maybe 7 at the most. I do have water and food provided to them at all times. I'm using a 75 watt light bulb on them. Could it be that it's too hot. I know that the hotter it is the faster they breed. Thanks for your help!
Here's some pics. Enjoy!!
Don't worry, when I come around I'll bring u someI WANNA try dubias!!!
Try feeding them a variety of foods. Fruits and veggies, grains or cereals. Try cutting up an orange and stick it in with them and watch them go crazy! As far as the temps, have you checked what the temp in there was? I think 80-90 is fine. You don't want it too hot because they will try to escape and oh my you don't want that!
