Dubia's

My dubia's have exploded from the summer heat/humidity. Now that I have an over abundance, my ambanja's decided that they are going to be finicky and will not touch them. They really go after the superworms, but have turned a cold shoulder towards the dubia's. Anyone have any advise to coax them into feeding on the dubia's again?

when my cham gets picky I stop feeding it that food for about a week or two. Then when I reintroduce it, they go after it like crazy. Almost like they forgot about it.

Problem is that when I stop the dubia's, they still have to eat and they don't want the dubia's right now. Should I not feed them anything for a week or two and then re-introduce the dubia's?

I think she may have meant that you get other feeders and feed those for a week or two, then re-introduce the dubia's as a staple, use them for a week or two, then try another feeder. Variety is the key with chams (or any herp). In the wild, they would be getting a greater variety of foods daily, not just the same old feeder for months on end. Try just the supers for a few weeks, then try the dubia again, then try crix for two weeks, and so on. Your chams will appreciate the variety, and you will still shrink (or at lease use up some of) your dubia colony.
Good luck.

Yep, variety is the key. I rotate my feeders every day and keep crickets as a staple.
Example.
monday = 5 crickets + 4 superworms
tuesday = 5 crickets + 2 adult Dubia
wensday = 5 crickets + 3 silkworms
etc.
