Dumped Chameleon...Where to start??

To sex them veilds have a spur on their back feet if a male. Looks like a heel popping out not something sharp looking.

I am not very good at telling their ages I will leave that for someone with more experience.

The poo should be a dark solid with white urates attached- if yellow or orange cham is dehydrated. Your chams eyes look sunken in could be the pictures but Up the mistings or use the shower method. I have attached a care sheet for you again in case you missed it the first time. This thread has grown a lot.
Happy reading :)

His poop is solid but has no white urates in?? I misted twice yesterday and twice today and now have his temp and humidity about right. I have replaced one of the glass doors with mesh and will have to wait until the weekend for my husband to make me replacement mesh doors. I have been out into the garden and managed to catch 4 small crickets ( making a complete idiot of myself in the process) but i have spoke to the pet shop again today and they are hoping for the live crickets to be in friday. I think now i have done the best i can for the moment and i think the rest will take time. I don't know if he as ever had any uva/uvb bulbs but now can get him outside to get some naturally sunlight. He has a spot ready next to my iguana that goes outside everyday for a spot of sunbathing. Now to learn how to breed my own crickets...lol.

did you look around for the urates sometimes not attached and they separate. That is great you can get your cham outside sunshine is the best medicine.

I would try the shower still only because their eyes look sunken in which can mean dehydration.

Put your cham on a branch/plant in the shower have the warm water hit the wall and bounce onto them. Usually they do not like it in the beginning but it will be very good for them :)

Thanks for the link. I have just checked his eyes and looked at the photos and his eyes are not as bad as they look. I will try to get another photo again tomorrow. I am now sat exploring how to make my own drip drinking thingy..I have to say this is a challenge. My iguana was a rescue and i have had him 6 years now but he was nowhere near this difficult. My main issue now is just food. I would appriciate some advice on the feeding as i don't want to over feed him since he is so thin...how many crickets a day to start with?

Dripper-
empty milk jug- fish tubing, fish valve that allows you to control water flow.
Silicone to seal the hole.

Make a hole in the jug to fit the valve seal it very well. add hose, add water then play with the valve until it just drips- should work:)

Since he is so thin, I would give plenty don't know the size of your crickets but GUESSING if 1/2 to 3/4 inch 15-20 daily.

15-20 daily. [/QUOTE
Don´t overdo it ;)
I´d feed about 7-10 adult crix per day for the first 1/2 weeks.
He won´t die from being thin so there´s no need to hurry that much.
After he recoverd a bit i´d feed max. every other day with 2-3 adult feeders.

I have spent the day working out a water drip system and then had the bright idea of going to the pharmacy and buying an infusion set and a bottle of sterile water. Having emptied the water and run the system through a few times, it works perfectly and all for 2.50...lol. I have made a hole in the top of the bottle and put a small funnel in so all i have to do everyday is refill. Poor Ozzy must have been thirsty as he went straight for it, my clever little man. Fingers crossed for the crickets tomorrow and we will be set..:D

Glad to hear things are getting better :)
You may also ask for pipettes, some chameleons get used to drink from them if you carefully drip on a leaf near them.
This way you can check wether and how much he drinks, it´s also very usefull if you will ever need to give him any medicines or something.
Did you get my message?

Thank you. I got your message and will be ordering tomorrow. You have all be so helpful and kind. Me and Ozzy thank you..xx

No problem ;)
You should also order Herpetal Mineral and Korvimin ZVT+Reptil.
You might search them in the greek ebay, would save you some shipping cost if you can get it there.
Would you mind posting pictures of the enclosure you currently keep him in?
