DZ(AKA Derek Zoolander) KK Tar Alderion Ambanja

I thought I would start my thread to post pictures as my boy grows.

Here is DZ(AKA Derek Zoolander, you know, because he's really really ridiculously good looking)

He arrived on June 14th, super cute and super ready to break out of that little container. He practically flew over my hand and into the security of the foliage as soon as I cracked the lid. Thanks goodness I opened it inside his cage!

He's beautiful! Congrats :) also, how sweet of them to write that little message on his shipping box. I can't wait to purchase a little one from them!

I still can't believe you can mail-order your reptiles in the USA...
I don't think that's even permitted in the Netherlands and it would be to cold for most of the year anyways...

Tho I can have my feeder bugs shipped by mail which is awesome!

Your cham looks great and he got the blue steel look down already!

Yes! That was another name I was throwing around...Blue Steel. :ROFLMAO:

I was a little weirded out by the shipping at first, this little guy is the second I had shipped to me. The first time I was a nervous wreck! Many years ago, I had gotten a Herman's Tortoise and he was shipped to me, unfortunately the he got stuck in a hub for the weekend after delays that weren't supposed to happen and the poor little guy passed before he got to me. I was devastated! The people I got him from made it right and sent me a new little guy, but it was horrible that one had to loose his life. It doesn't happen very often that way, it was totally the shipping company but it made me really nervous when I decided to get a chameleon that way. Both times have been perfectly fine.

Great choice, he is going to be top notch! I have purchased 3 babies myself from the kammers in the past year and they have All turned out or are turning out to be beyond what I expected. Ive wanted to get an ambanja from them a few times but just can't bring myself to do it. Their ambanjas are just more expensive than most breeders out there. Not to say I haven't still been tempted... Maybe when yours colors up it will convince me to pull the trigger.lol

This is my first Krammer's and I love them! They are so helpful and are great about answering my questions. He was pricey but I couldn't help myself! I am really hoping for some purple bars in him. His daddy had deep blues and his mom's bloodline had red bars. I think I am starting to see some purple so I can't wait to see how he develops. This is my first Ambanja and so far I'm thrilled with him! I've had veilds and an Ambilobe.

Updating DZ's baby book. Got a little outside time last week. First and ONLY time I've been able to get him into his playpen. He still pretty much hates me.

This one cracks me up...."Don't look at me, I'm hideous!" Lol.

Oh, how he hates the camera. The fact that I'm on the other side of it doesn't help matters either case I think he hates me more! He's a finicky one, my DZ.
