Early Signs of URI?

i noticed yesterday Cuprian, my 4 month old blue bar ambilobe, had his mouth gaping. it only lasted a few seconds, and has not done it since. There was a slight clicking soung that i thought may be slight hissing when i handled him earlier, and i am hoping he isnt getting a uri. no mucous, excess saliva, or bubbles, i am just wanting to make sure i can catch it early if it is. Any recommendations for making sure hes comfortable before i can make it to the vet? basking temp is around 85, humidity towards top of cage spikes to 79 when misting but drops to 15 percent when dry, though the bottom half of cage stays at around 40 after drying.

Maybe he was just yawning or got a little to warm. The sign of an RI are puffing the chin, opening the mouth, making a popping sound and extra saliva in the mouth.

im hoping that maybe he was just too warm, but im going to keep an eye and ear on him just to make sure. thanks for the positive thoughts, its quite a relief :)
