eating?

so i just got a juvinelle vield cham as you all probably know and i was wondering how long do u think it will be until it will eat? i know its stressed now so most likely wont but when should i stop worrying ha

I don't think we can predict when your chameleon will eat. Is everything in your set up correct and you are sure there is nothing in that which could be causing him not to eat? Are you positive he has not eaten? Is he drinking???

i got him last night so its been a day now and he hasnt eatin or drinkun

when i 1st got my cham he ate kinda fast but i gave him mealwroms .
try different type of feeders and see how it goes .
probably he was used to a specific kind of feeder or he doesnt have interenst in that particular type of bug you offered .

sometimes this may take hours or days.
i know a case when a veiled didnt eat for 7 days when he was rehomed.
and a panther witch didnt eat for almost 2 weeks .
do you cup feed ?

i actually hand feed. the meller i have i hand feed her because she has a vitamen b dificiency and cant stick out her tounge so with this chameleon its so new to me :/ im used to the mellers not vield but she runs around and wanders everywhere so she seems happy

When I got my female panther she didn't eat for 4 days... would drink but not eat. Just spray a fine mist over top of her for 3 minutes or until she starts visibly licking her lips. Then cup feed her. I cup fed my girl after 4 days and she gobbled up 10 crickets within an hour. Just put the cup in there with the crickets (hoppers popped off of course) and walk away. She will eat trust me.

Some chams don't like to be hand fed and some do. I would do cup feeding over free range feeding any day though.

yep,try cup feeding she will be more comfortable this way.and try with dif type of feeders

sweet thanks ill have to try that shes free rage so ill have to put some baby millworms up there for her
