This is my female cham Montia and she is 8 months old. I am worried about that she has egg binding! :( Actually she didn't show any gravid colors, she didn't tried to dig the soil and she eats well but she looks like pregnent... She didn't mate but she can have infertile eggs i think?
What do you say?

There is more photos but some of them are old photos:

What is your bin setup mixture ? How moist is it ?
Does she have privacy ?

On the second picture it looks like she has eggs but surely I'm not a vet so I can not diagnose anything. Chameleons lay eggs regardless if they are fertile or not.

Can I get anyone else to weigh in on this ?

Carol where are you? :)

Her color looks receptive for breeding to me. But if she hasn't bred ever she could still be that color. In the second pic all I see are ribs, she looks fat but not lumpy. If there are eggs in there it is easy to feel them with your index finger and thumb.

I have not put any bin in her cage because she have not mate yet.

She hasn't breed ever, she is too young. I have not feel any eggs with my fingers, just ribs. She is still fat and i am still a little bit nervous...

She does not have to mate to lay eggs. Are you clear on this? I am confused on your above post. She can lay infertile eggs and I am not sure if she is gravid or not. You should have a bin in there at all times, just in case. If she does have eggs, and does not have a place to lay, then she will become eggbound and die.

When i came home from school i saw a hole in laying bin but no eggs, she is still plump. :( And she just showed me her gravid colors! She didn't eat anything today and yesterday ate she just 1 grasshopper… I think she is gravid.
What kind of a laying soil mixture must i use? Can i use 'aquarium sand+organic soil' mix?

It can take a female 3 or more days to actually lay.

They oftentimes dig test holes and then cover them up, or make another hole before they finally lay.

Leave her alone.

Don't change the bin, don't mess with her.

the more you do, the more you risk her deciding its not safe to lay and she becomes egg bound. which then means a trip to the vet for oxytocin shots, and it just doesn't always end well.

She didn't see me. She is alone when i'm at the school. :)
I hope she will lay eggs tomorrow. (The time now is in Turkey 10 pm, she is sleeping now ;) )

Sounds like you are doing well so far. Just be 100% sure she has privacy and doesn't see you. You can check for eggs in her laying bin after she goes to sleep each night. Once she lays them, feed her and water her well. I would also look into how to try and prevent laying eggs in the future (less food, lower temperatures.) After a few days of feeding her well so she can recover, cut back on her food if you don't already.

Is she gravid???
Can i use cocopeat or aquarium sand as laying bin medium???
HELP! She ate nothing for 4 days! :(

Even if she isn't gravid it would be a good idea to leave a suitable egglaying container there so she can dig when she needs to. I use an opaque container at least 12 " deep by 12 " by 8 " full of washed playsand. Aquarium sand is likely not a good idea. The sand should be most enough to hold a tunnel.
