Egg create alternative

Looking for some ideas on a washable egg create material for crix. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks to those that help...

Some use paper towel rolls, I use the cardboard cup holders you get from McDonalds. I have also heard of cardboard boxes being cut up and one sid ripped off leaving the rippled side showing to allow more surface space. Hope this helps some. Also you can always go to a breakfast place like IHOP and ask them for their old disgarded egg crates. I have done that too.

Have you ever seen the portable plastic egg crates? Maybe something like this

That is just an idea. I'm sure some of the expert cricket farmers around here will have some better contraptions though.

I use those coffee trays they give when you buy 4 coffees at tim hortons

Maybe the trays from Toffiffee's? lol, I just look for any excuse to eat toffiffees. tee hee.
