Egg laying question...

So for christmas I got a potentially pregnant chameleon.... She has been hanging around on her floor in the dirt for a while... do you think she's really pregnant?

Pygmies are more ground dwelling than other species are so it's not really an indication of impending egg laying. Mine are on the ground a lot just normally. They are very secretive about egg laying so sometimes the only way to know that she laid is that she'll look very rotund one day and very skinny the next.
