egg laying :/

[Pygmy chameleon]

i have a female that is gravid and ready to lay! so today at around 6:30am i went to turn the lights on for the chams and i seen my female digging a hole in her laying bin so i immediately covered her cage and put the baby monitor on and all she keeps doing is digging her holes and covering them up and she is constantly doing this.. is there something wrong? its been hours! im just so concerned!

They dig test holes. I did not know they dug so many but is should not something to worry about.

Test holes! Shes been digging and covering up ALL DAY im just so concerned but thx

It's normal, if you check my other post in the vid you can see I normally give them a few test hole pre dug(to save them energy).

But may I ask what is the digging medium?

I use play sand with a small amount of standard soil( no ferts) with water
