egg leaking yoke out?

I need some advice, has anyone ever seen an egg leak yoke out? These are the last 2 eggs form my first clutch of quad eggs. i was so hopeful but it isn't look good

They are going bad. I had my crested eggs do that, kept them incubating though just in case... but they ended up molding anyways.
I have heard of people stopping them up with paper towel.. but that is too much yolk to have leaked.

I have also heard that it may be caused by lack of calcium in the shell of the egg.

Good luck hun, it wont hurt if you move them to a drier box with new vermiculite/pearlite mix the pearlite i find lets the air circulate a little better.

Although the pics are quite fuzzy, looks like they may have ruptured from too much swelling. How wet is/was the substrate? I cannot tell from the pics, was it just the one egg or both? If just the one, you may be able to save the other, though I am hoping you can save both I would try moving them to a drier substrate...good luck.

Eggs were laid on 8/12.

Thanks Chuck that is what I thought but needed someone who has experience to confirm it.

I will just hope the next clutch does better and she is hopefully laying clutch 3 soon, she quit eating a week ago and is way restless. Cross your fingers all goes well.

She's a little egg laying machine! I use air tight shallow deli cups with plenty of room for the eggs to grow. The vermiculite I use is only slightly damp. The egg is not kept damp. Also, I keep them in the dark. My mini-fridge units have windows on the doors but they are kept inside of a cabinet so it's always dark. Before I had the cabinets, I kept the units covered under a table if they had eggs incubating in them.

Thanks Elisa, I am really waiting for him to get here. I hate waiting. Watching the weather in Montana is like watching paint dry, or for Tuffy to lay her eggs.
