So it has been about seven and a half months, one of the eggs are sweating :). I am so nervous... Wish me luck, I will keep everyone posted with pictures if I am lucky enough to have them hatch out all happy and healthy!

Any tips that anyone wants to throw in with hatch-lings I would love to hear them!

I have done tons of reading and a lot of research on babies, have seen people keep them, and have had a few month-lings but never neonates so I hope everything goes good.

I'm just curious, what do u do for incubation, just want someone else's opinion.

I have been told honestly a million different temperatures it seems like

But what I did first was put them at 68 for the first two months. Then Heard you were supposed to up it to 74, then two months later 78 and they then are supposed to hatch in about 6-8 months. But then I heard that can rush them so I am hoping they are okay. I didn't mean to be impatient that was just the way I heard to keep them at. I heard from another source that keeping them at 78 from the start will allow them their time to incubate and hatch but it can take over a year. So I kind of met in the middle and at about 3 months I put the eggs at 78 to somewhat meat in the middle of the two ideas. I am still not sure what method I will use in the long rung.

I also can't closet them due to temps being way to high during summer and to low during winter.

Tomorrow??!!

Sorry man gotta watch immortals with the gal!!!! I promise though I am done with finals and don't start work till next week so I will be posting pictures like crazy. I am so excited, this is so rewarded after how much time/care/effort I have put into these guys!

I use the closet method at a 66F ~ 68F. So far so good.

Grrrr!!! Internet!

Waiting impatiently lol.............

Congratulations!!! I start off all mine lower like you did and they hatch out at 7 months ALL of them healthy :)

okay so I am on a friends computer... Yesterday just as I was uploading the pictures the internet went down so comcast is coming out tomorrow. I am taking tons of pictures to make up for the delay lol...

I currently have 9 babies out. Every egg has hatched out healthy and they have incredible barring already I love it!

So, I didnt see a response to your question "how long after an egg dents does it take to hatch?".... I too am wondering this, my veileds are starting to dent now and they are around 9months in.

Okay so the first egg collapsed, it was like that for a day or two. Then the baby used its beak to slice the egg, then after the slice was made it took another day or two for it to hatch out. All in all it took 4-5 days from the sweating to breaking out!

Also tweaked I want a GLIDER!!!!! lol

Also internet guy is coming out at around 4 today then should be fixing it up so I can post the million pictures I have taken of them.
