Eggs are hatching

Congrats. So, how many quad eggs and perreti eggs did you have incubating together? When was each clutch laid and what were your incubation temps? My baby quads are now 5 weeks old (need to post more pics soon) and started hatching just 2 days past the 5 month mark (incubation temps were right at 72F). In the past, quads I hatched took a little longer (5 1/2 months at 68-70F). Also, what supplements and frequencies did you use on the mother? We need more info! :) Have you taken any measurements yet?

Now those are definitely T. quadricornis babies. Was I just misinterpreting the first photo for some reason or do you also have baby T. perreti hatching as well?

Nice job!

Exactly what I'm wondering as well. Also wondering if by chance the eggs of both species were incubating together, if they were laid at nearly the same time last year, and if both species are hatching now, if the simultaneous hatching has anything to do with them being in the same incubation container (that is if they are indeed in the same container). :) If the quad eggs were laid last November as indicated in the original post (even if at the end of that month), the fact they are hatching now would put the total incubation time for the quads at over 6 months. I've never had a quad take that long to hatch which is why I asked about the incubation temps. At least I'm not the only one confused.

Although it's hard to judge, the neonate in the series of 5 pics (assuming it's the same baby) appears to be good sized. I'm very curious as to how much he weighs and how long he is, especially since, if I understand correctly, it took the clutch 6 months to hatch. Mine took 5 months, and although I unfortunately have not take any measurements yet :(, it seems that previous clutches (ones that took 5 1/2 months) were a little larger the day they emerged. Although a little larger (from what I remember anyway), they did not seem as strong as my current group of babies. Also, from what I remember about the last clutch of quads that hatched for me, some of them emerged a nice bright green as the one in your photos. I find it interesting that with this clutch, all that I observed emerging were dark upon hatching and for the first two weeks, most of them were usually some shade of brown or a dull green. The bigger this clutch of neonates gets (quite a few are in shed now), I find that more of them are spending a greater amount of time a brighter green like the adults usually are. More info please! I want to compare notes! :D

Yes, eggs together. Two Cameroon species. Baby quads weighed in at 1 gram.
