Eggs....somewhere?

I had this expectation that I might see some digging or altered behaviors from the gravid female. She looked about to pop the last few days. Tonight, I have a healthy looking NORMAL sized pygmy female. Huge belly is missing. I am certain eggs were laid somewhere in the enclosure.

The big question is where??? Or how deep in a 3-4 inch substrate? I know I am looking for tic-tac sized eggs. My plan was initially to locate the eggs and transfer them to a more controlled environment. Anyone else just leave the clutch to hatch without any intervention?

Your best bet is to look at the base of plants, they love digging next to something. And they only dig a few inches down in my experience.

Does your caging have a glass bottom? If so just look underneath and you'll probably find them in a corner or at a plant base like Kyle suggested.

I think quite a few people have had them hatch in the cage no problems.. Or seen them digging, but would need to tear down the cage to get them. so left them and had them hatch..

I don't suppose you have a picture of her gravid? and now for comparison?

I just got a few, the females look rounder than the male so I am curious if they may be gravid..
But not really any pictures to compare.. :)

Same Pygmy. Not gravid and 20ish days in her gestation. You can tell a difference with a watchful eye.

Looks like we have an additional set of eggs laid yesterday. These girls are really stealthy with their egg laying!

 Here is the 3rd female and her belly:
