hey y’all! I’ve had Cammy for over a year now she’s about a year and a half years old and she still has not laid eggs. I just came home after about a week (my dad took care of her for me while i was gone) and I went to hold her and she has blue and brownish coloration(shes never presented this before). whenever I looked it up it said that means she’s “receptive” and that happens when there’s a male Cham around but she’s the only Cham I have. i have a laying box and everything so idk what’s up.

Females display receptive colors with or without a male around, it means that they are ready to mate. She will develop eggs in around 30-40 days, then she will lay.

I can agree with receptive. When they are gravid, the eggs might be visible from the sides of her body which will probably be puffier. Lastly, some females display a dark, black color when gravid.
