Elly Memorial

I don't know what happened to my post of earlier? Anyways, I will say what I tried to say before and that is that Elly was a precious little miracle. I am so glad that I got a chance to meet her when she was her tinly little self and regret I did not make it back up to your house to see her again before she left this earth. She was a product of love, dedication and care. She could not have asked to be born into a more wonderful place to call home. I am so sorry Jann that your time with her was so short and her life was such a struggle from day one. You are a testament as to what a true chameleon keeper should be and one that we all strive to be. God bless your sweet little angel and may she rest in peace now.

So sad to hear, but I also read your prolapse thread off and on as you were going through it and she was lucky to have such a great mommy!

Elly was a very special little girl who will all miss, she was a proper little fighter. I don't think anyone will forget her. R.I.P little one she's with her mummy now.

I missed the prolapse thread and also the broken legs thread so this comes off as a big surprise to me.. sorry to hear jann..

Jann, i am so sorry to hear this! I wish you all the strength to get trough the days without your precious Elly! Elly had the best chameleon-mommy in the world!

That photo with the fruit fly on her nose is so particularly sweet :) A really fitting tribute to a beautiful girl. I hope you do take comfort in the fact that she was looked after as well as was humanly possible and she will have known it too. RIP little Elly.

R.I.P little Elly :( Jann Steve and I are so sorry to hear about Elly We have read your post on your chameleons and their Struggles and their Milestones. and watching them on your videos They really couldnt have asked for better keepers.

Oh Jann Im so sorry :( I just read this and had to give you my condolences for another tragic loss. Elly was such a special little girl, it breaks my heart to know she is gone.

Oh Jann I am so very sorry about Elly. You have been through so much heartbreak in these last few months. It is tragic to lose even one, but two so very special little ones in such a short time is just unfair. I can't imagine how devastated you are. I wish I could give you a hug! I'm sure Camille was waiting to show her the ropes. Mom and daughter are reunited at the big free range in the sky. May all your happy memories of them both bring you comfort during this sad time.

Thank you so much Jessica, Jason and Dayna. I am still devastated over the loss of Elly and Camille, Bertha and Joppa. Loosing 4 pets in 5 months is just too much to handle. I was looking through Elly's pictures this morning and found my very last photos of her. We were on the way home from the Repticon in Orlando. Elly went with us for a check up from Ivan and we stopped on the way home for a misting and to let her catch a few rays.

It's so hard to loose a chameleon that became a part of your life and family. i have had challenging experiences and loses and the best part is knowing you gave them a loving family to be a part of and was/are there for them.

Those precious memories and knowledge you gained from this experience will help you in the the future.

Keep up the good parenting and thank you for sharing these wonderful photos!

Oh she looks like she was an absolutely beautiful veiled cham....I had a scare a couple months back with my own Ellie when she accidentally choked on a cricket...emergency vet visit and all's well now, but again, I'm really sorry about your Elly...the pictures seem to suggest that you took wonderful care of her too by the way :)
