EMERGENCY What is on my veileds mouth?????

While feeding my female veiled I noticed there was something dark on its snout so I took it out and I don't know exactly what it is but it looks all burned up. Also on the bottom part of the mouth on the black it has a hole or something forming. Please help I can't have her get sick. I will post pics as soon as possible.

Here is a pic, what do you guys think it is?

Yes I have, its not soil. There is an ulcer forming on the bottom side of the black area. I will try to get a zoomed pic.

Is it possible she was able to get too close to a heat source? Is there actually a hole that goes all the way through into her mouth? Hard to tell what that is even on the larger picture.

Have you looked inside her mouth?

I dont think she has been rubbing on her cage. When ever I see her she is usually on a plant 12" from the lights or her basking spot 3 to 4 inches from the lights. I don't think she has been touching her nose to the top screen but it is possible. The hole does not go all the way though.

can you post a few more pics? What's the inside of her mouth look like? The lips seem slightly mismatched at the very end of her snout.

It might help if you could get a new picture with the affected area in focus instead of the eye. The only things I could think of that could cause something like that would either be a sharp object in the cage or some kind of insect/spider bite.

It may have came from a superworm. Do I need to use anti biotics? There is a divet under the chin that looks like a developing ulcer.

On the thread "Determining Age" the cham looks like it has the same thing as mine. Do you guys have any idea on what I should do about mine?

Supper bites can be pretty nasty! Just a small nip can be enough to cause an infection that can lead to mouth rot. But however she got it, you should wash it up right away and get some neosporin on it. I would definitely get a vet appointment because infections of the mouth can get out of control really quickly.
If you can't get her to a vet. Then tomorrow get some betadine and wash it really well and get some Terramycin antibiotic ointment it's for eye infections but works great for things like this. It's sold at most feed stores without a prescription for example http://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/search/terramycin opthalmic ointment
If you decide to try the above and it doesn't look better in a few days go to the vets. Good luck and hope she gets better soon.

Do i just put a light layer on the side skin on the infected area?

Put it all over the areas that look damaged. Make sure you wash it first even a mild solution of dawn dishwashing liquid or antibacterial soap, would work to wash it, rinse well, then dry and then apply the ointment to it.

Strange question but does she have dirt on the undersides of her feet?
The Cham in pic on the the thread you referred to had really dirty feet like she had been digging

I noticed she has been going on the floor a little bit more the past couple days, she should be laying an infertile clutch soon

Does she have a laying bin in there? Her nose doesn't look burned to me. It looks to me like she's been nosing around the soil or rubbing it on the inside of her cage or both like a carpet burn and it might be irritated or slightly infected.
