Hello.. I have a male Veiled Chameleon who is about 1 and a half years old. I'm going to hold off on being too detail oriented because I could use advice as quick as possible. He has a good sized cage with a ficus tree, diet consists mainly of Dubia roaches, gets the multivitamin and calcium with d3 every couple of feedings.. basically a fairly healthy lil guy up to this point. Recently I had to buy one of the zoo med bulbs because I had to get one on the spot, as my other broke and I did not have a spare at the time. I usually avoid these brands because they usually go out within 3-4 months. This time, however, his bulb went out much quicker than I had anticipated. It was only about a month or two since I bought the build. I screwed up and did not really bother to pay attention to the light. I usually just make sure his environment and food are supplied properly and let him be, in a mostly covered cage because he gets stressed out pretty easily (never been the friendliest veiled, which was ok with me). I only noticed because I realized there was not much food being eaten from his feeding area so I checked in and realized the bulb was out and he was probably real cold. The problem is I am not entirely sure how long it has been. I'm really afraid it may be close to too late, he is currently sitting at the bottom of the plant struggling to eat, as I have been trying my best to feed him through tweezers. He bites but is unable to chew and swallow properly. He is really unresponsive right now but still wakes up if I approach. I searched that this could also be a Vitamin A deficiency. I also talked to the owner of east bay vivarium who told me the best thing I could do is make sure he has food available, proper temp and just let him be and close up the cage because of how much the stress seemed to be affecting his appetite. I was trying to feed him in the most approachable way but he just isn't the best with interacting so I decided to close up and hope for the best.
I just want to know if anyone has any tips or advice on what I should do? Like I said taking him to the vet/donating him back to east bay vivarium may not be the best options purely because he is extremely susceptible to stress right now and it could be the death of him. Really wish I would have paid attention more and but we are here now. If anyone can help out or send tips my way, it would be greatly appreciated.

. I can type all that out but I really don't think it will help at the moment, I will definitely send pictures. Be warned very sad. Also I did get him the bulb already. It only got this bad after I installed it, ironically.
