Enclosure Setup for Baby Panther

Yeah I am sure there can be assholes on here but you have been a great help I really appreciate it. Ill post picks of the little guy when I get him:)

When you get your cham you should make an Instagram for him. That's also a way to meet other chameleon owners and see pictures of everyone's cham. If you ever make one and want to follow mine it's @sullythenosyfaly

How did you attach the shower curtain to your screen cage?. I'm just curious.

thats a good idea thank you. I started following you and your little guy is super cute and I like your setup btw. Where did you find all of your branches?

All I did was measure out 2 cage sides and then I cut little strip pieces of black duct tape and used that. I didn't want it to be permanently on there. The duct tape holds really good and doesn't look janky because the cage is black so it blends in.

oh and the sticks are from my grandparents mulberry tree. Mulberry trees are really good for chameleon branches. So if you know anyone with a mulberry tree you're in luck. The sticks you buy at the pet store are SO overpriced

You seem like a decent person, open to advice. I'm sure you'll have no problems with people on here. The ones that get bad responses are the people that throw any advice they don't like back in people's faces.

I haven't read through everything, but there's no problem with substrate. We just don't want it to choke or cause a blockage. What I would do is get a good organic soil mix with small particles(no rocks that can be swallowed) and use a few inches of that. Add some springtails, isopods, and a little leaf litter. Looks nice, adds humidity, and keeps the bottom clean. You can also remove the river rocks if you do that. Add whichever plants you like that'll add hiding spots, crotons and pothos should be good as you mentioned. Monsoon seems to break for everyone, no matter what they do, around 6 months. If you can put up the cash for mistkings it's much better. Also I find with the mister, that the dripper is unnecessary. I used a dripper for like 5 days ever and was over it lol.
