there is alot of information within this forum that points in that direction. if you use the search function you will find tons of stuff about compact uvb bulbs. they are known to cause eye problems.

theres been quite a few people that had issues with them. their chams were closing their eyes and stuff, and as soon as they changed the bulb to the tube type they were better.
