Expired Calcium

So i bought a 15.9 oz jar of Exo Terra calcium from my local reptile shop yesterday. I opened it this morning and used it before noticing it expired last year. I called up to tell them it was expired and sinse i opened it i cant return it..... Even with a receipt. Should i be okay with using it? Will it harm my reps? Or mine as well trash it? Also the Exo Terra liquid supplement. Both were brand new and sealed.

If it is plain calcium without d3 or anything else- calcium is just a mineral and will last forever.

the main problem with vitamins on the other hand, is that they sometimes loose potency after long shelf life...
