Exploding anus?!?!?

HI Everyone!! thanks for checkin this out. I have had a few chameleons and have never observed this behavior, yet oddly enough i feel like it may be normal. The chameleon that had this happen is a 6 month old ambilobe. He is doing really good. Eats well, drinks well, and growing nicely. I think it is noteworthy to mention that he has been discharging sperm sacs every so often. so i think this may be related to sexual maturity.
So after his morning eating he purched himself on a branch with his anas slightly hanging over.....figured a poo was coming. then i saw a super bright red ......something, come out and opened like a blooming flower!!??? he was totaly chill, didnt seemed stressed at all. then after about five or ten seconds, the "flower" like part, retracted back into his vent. Any info on this behavior would be awesome thanks

ok cool so totally normal?? right?? is this something that happens when he is reaching sexual maturity? and is there anything else i should be looking for when this happens, in other words..... are there any signs or particular apperance i should note in order to make sure he is healthy or defficient in something.

If it stays out and doesn't go back in then there could be an issue.
Sometimes if they are over fed they will squeeze out their hemis while defecating too.
