Extra heavy shed?

Hey, All
Just wondering if anyone has experienced this;
I have a 1yr old Panther, very healthy, VERY active, with proper lighting, food, supplements, etc....

He didn't shed for a while, then a few days ago, he started this massively thick shed, that looks like about 3 layers thicker than any other he has done before. He seems to be feeling a little uncomfortable about it.

I've been giving him extra long mistings, 2x per day. He's been maneuvering his body around in the stream of water in an obvious way, to get the water down under his skin.

Pictures? He is at the age now where they usually take longer to shed. Keep the misting up that will help him get through it.

Thanks. I figured he was fine, but wanted to know if the extra thickness of the shed was normal.

Forgot the pics. I was so focused on helping him(with misting), that I forgot to take any.

Last night I saw huge pieces of shed all around the cage, so it's finally coming off.

Chameleon will need heat to shed faster,so if u want to see some faster results,raise ur temperature in couple degrees higher,misting n shed goes together,I raise the heat on mine when they about to shed.
