I don't know why, but for a day and a half, my female veiled keeps her eyes closed. She opens them for a couple of seconds then closes them. She hasn't been able to eat because of this and there are no vets around that deal with reptiles.

give her an extra long misting session or even better a shower. If that does not help then you will probably have to go to a vet. Do you have any pics?

You shower her by getting a plant and putting on a ledge or the bottom of the shower, then turn the shower on about room temp and point it towards the wall on the shower to where it reflects/mists the plant the chams on. I'd say the longest time you could do this is about 20 to 30 minutes.

It didn't work, what else can I do, I don't have 200$ to go drop at a vetinarians.

Last option is flush her eyes with saline solution for contacts. Was there any chance in uvb bulbs lately?

If she is keeping her eyes closed it could very possibly be a sign of sickness you really need to do your best to get her to a vet it could be a matter of life or death. When they go down hill they go quite rapidly just so you know. Good luck

I just squirt it in. You could rinse with water if you feel like that would make you feel better. When I had an eye problem only one of his eyes were messed up though. If you don't see any changes soon I would recommend a vet visit. Good luck

How can I post pics, its always saying "too large"
Could you fill out the ask for help. Unless the eyes are swollen, or have something in them I doubt this is an eye issue. It is probably illness related because thy almost never have both eyes closed when it's an eye related issue. You really don't have much time to get this figured out if it is indeed illness related.

I have another post where this is already filled out
