Eye stuck shut

I got a veiled about two weeks ago and just the other day his eye started to seem "stuck shut". The first time I noticed it I checked the forums and read someone had said to give extra misting sessions. I tried this and it seemed to help for about a day. I've seen him rub his eyes against the cage a couple times but no such luck getting it to go away and now the misting doesn't seem to help anymore. He doesn't seem to eat much anymore either which may or may not be because of his impaired eye. Any advice?

The little guy's eyes seem pretty sunken in to me. I would keep up the mistings and humidity up and see if that helps. He just looks dehidrated.

If you haven't tried showers yet, I would suggest that.

It may help determine the exact cause and solution if you fill out a https://www.chameleonforums.com/how-ask-help-66/ form :)
